Social streaming platform Livespins has been rewarded at this year’s EGR B2B Awards by taking the prestigious title of Innovation in Slot Provision.

Key criteria for the Software Rising Star category included product development and deliverability, product differentiation, user experience, innovation and understanding customer needs. Livespins came out on top against 14 shortlisted competitors to take the prize.

Livespins has a vision to charge the igaming space through shared experiences, while creating a new category of play, offering a much better alternative where studios, instead of streamers, are the ones getting paid to add their content to the Livespins platform. Those that integrate their games into Livespins receive a percentage of the revenue generated from the streams that feature their games.

Innovation has been at the heart of Livespins’ strategy, and it is the world’s first platform to allow players to bet behind a live streamer or ambassador, and the first to allow studios to earn commission while gaining exposure from streams at the same time. The success at the EGR B2B Awards comes during a period of significant expansion for Livespins, with more than 30 content providers now live via the platform and with many more to come.

Livespins can integrate with any operator. The Livespins experience sits within the online casino lobby, and its team of superstar streamers creates highly entertaining and engaging streams using hundreds of slot games from the best providers in the business, including the likes of Relax Gaming, Yggdrasil and iSoftBet/IGT.

This provides operators with an entirely new way to receive slot and casino content, creating a “live slot” category in the same way that live dealer has done for table games.

Livespins sits within the casino lobby, and players are protected via the tools and processes that each operator is required to have in place under its international and local licences. Since Twitch took the decision to ban some online casinos from its platform, Livespins has seen an accelerated influx of enquiries from operators looking to integrate the experience into their game lobbies.

Michael Pedersen, CCO at Livespins, said: “We are incredibly proud to have been voted as the winner in the Innovation in Slot Provision category. It is an honour to be recognised by the industry following a series of momentous achievements that have seen us grow in the market.

“We are committed to providing innovative gameplay technology that benefits the entire gaming ecosystem, and I would like to thank our team, streamer squad, players and partners who have helped us achieve this. We look forward to building on our success and signing up many more partners as we continue to make headway in the igaming space.”
